At Galion Grace Brethren Church, our mission is…

Glorifying God

We believe that the ultimate purpose behind God’s work of creation and redemption is to bring glory to His name (Ps. 19:1-4, 79:9; Rom. 1:18-23; Eph. 1:3-14). Guided by Scripture, we seek to glorify God by every word we speak, every action we take, and every decision we make (1 Cor. 10:31). We view the following two elements of our mission as the best way to glorify God as a church.

Guiding others to Jesus

We know that everyone needs Jesus because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). How can they be saved if they have not heard the Good News about Jesus (Rom. 10:14-15)? Thus, we strive to guide unbelievers to Christ through preaching, personal evangelism, and other outreach ministries.

Bringing His followers to maturity

Through the Biblical instruction of Pastors and Teachers, we are equipped for the work of ministry. Our goal is to build up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, becoming mature in the fullness of Christ (Eph. 4:11-13).
